Helping navigate the necessary resources.

Case management services were created to support the parents as they work through their child’s trauma as well as continuing to navigate daily struggles. The parents meet one on one with the case manager on a “as needed” basis to identify needs and work to overcome any barriers to meet those needs. The case manager can assist the parents with navigating local resources such as food pantries and the bus system, fill out paperwork to obtain services, and locate counseling services. The case manager can also provide emotional support for the parents who just need to process with someone who understands the complexity and trauma of child sexual abuse.

Our case manager also manages the resources on-site for families utilizing the Center. The Yellow Dress Care Closet was created to meet the immediate needs of families served at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County. For more information on case management, becoming a partner, or donating to the Yellow Dress Care Closet, please contact Case Manager, Marian Anderson.

Si usted es padre o cuidador y tiene preguntas sobre conductas sexuales problemáticas, envíe un correo electrónico a la Coordinadora de Servicios Marian Anderson o llámela al (616)719-4687.
